Dreaming...
Top Secret works in progress; until then, please enjoy a selection of my favourite films!
Storytelling... is the Art of Spiritual Evolution, Initiation, and the Language of Symbols.
We used to have stories around the fire - now we have cinema...
"Whoever controls the media controls the mind." ~ Jim Morrison
The Dreamtime (collective subconscious), has been hijacked, and divisive agendas and control mechanisms have been subtly woven into our stories - ergo psychologies - from "all the cool kids drink TAB" to patriotism; racism; spiritual, mental and sexual conditioning and enslavement; to Courtroom Dramas and 'loveable' cops: POLLUTION.
But artists also weave... those are my favourite films. :) And art can be conscious - deliberate - or Inspired... accidental; channeled from the cosmos...
One of my FAVOURITE examples of this, is in the completely underrated 'Playboy' documentary; "Sex at 24 Frames per Second".
This movie reveals the industry controls that were forcibly placed on artistic expression, from on-screen kisses lasting no more than 3 seconds (which Alfred Hitchcock artistically navigated around), to "only virgins survive" in Horror Films, and ending Mae West's burgeoning career as a strong and sassy sexual woman.
Most of my favourite films are rich with awareness, illumination, initation, and growth.
Maybe oneday I'll get around to reviewing them all and illuminating their messages - but I really like surprises... it's better if you just watch!
